Chapter: Comics
I like how there are some foods that I only eat on Thanksgiving. Candied sweet potatoes and green bean casserole are probably the most memorable. They’re just not part of the menu the rest of the year. I wonder what the spike looks like on the yearly sales chart for things like marshmallows and green beans.

Somehow, Biff with a grass skirt and a coconut top is just wrong yet right
I wonder about Cranberry sauce, myself.
Man I’ve known about your site for a while but never had the time to visit, but now I’ve just gone through 900+ comics in like two days. And I likes what I sees! Oh and have you ever thought of doing a Biff origin type week?
Cranberry sauce and yams. We can’t keep them on the shelf! Along with assorted pie fillings.
Excellent Thanksgiving comic, Chris. 🙂
the one food never eaten any other time is ham, i wish we could celebrate both american and canadian thanksgiving, then we woud have two opportunities to get fat before christmas
@puffmax – What took you so long to visit? I have been waiting for years!
@Mophtran – Are you in the grocery business?
Wow, that Thanksgiving luau might just be the ultimate symbol of awkwardness. Good one! Too bad we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in my country…
At my store, we have special displays for holiday-related stuff — lots of canned pumpkin, bags of stuffing mix, marshmallows, etc etc that gets put out and grouped together. And yes, it goes very, very quickly.
Is that coconut sauce on the turkey? no wonder.
Truly, no man is an island.
But then… there is Biff? May he long survive.
@ Just_Some_Dude: Truth be told, I’m not so sure how much we celebrate it here. Leastwise the part about *real* sharing which they teach us in grade school.
Hey! I was looking at that picture again… Name this tune?
Hey, Biff! Get off of your cloud!
Pumpkin pies made from our own store bakery fly off the shelves here….and loads and loads of marshmallows and string beans!
(Yes I work in a large supermarket.)
I laughed myself to tears reading this one! *L* Biff in a coconut bra? I’d have shown up just for that reason. Honestly? I can’t think of a single place where absolutely *nobody* would have shown up, not at least for a few minutes out of sheer curiosity and to sample free food. “Hey, someone’s being overly weird this thanksgiving…let’s go see!”
Oh yes….thanksgiving *hams* are such a huge seller here that in my store, if you bought so much ham, you got your thanksgiving turkey free.
And my store does massive thanksgiving catering orders. Stressful time of the year!!!
I have thanksgiving off instead of working at the supermarket while everyone swarms in for last minute shopping, hooray!
Biff…is the bikini necessary?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING BIFF!!! Also, the bikini made me laugh.
@Space Butler I believe it was. He didn’t want his chest to get too cold, did he?
Mmm, Thanksgiving :3 Every vegetarian’s, vegan’s, ect.’s day of horror.
What is on top of that turkey? whipped cream? that’s for the pie, Biff!
It could be snow….he’s outdoors, isn’t he?
Hershey – there’s always tofurkey. Which is pretty horrifying all by itself, but that’s just my opinion…
Oh, and I definitely would have shown up for the luau, if only I’d been invited.
Remember that the reason we eat the Thanksgiving foods that we do is because they happen to be in-season around that time of year. It’s just that for some reason, Thanksgiving foods haven’t been given the whole “year-long availability” treatment that most of our foods have.
@Chris: drug store, so our supply is quite limited. Walgreens, same as Drakey.
i would have shown up AND brought some pumpkin pie…
Mele-maliki-laka-is Hawaii’s way to say….Go Biff go! Carve the turkey people will come, dress code optional though, grass skirts would have folks bringing chilled buns instead of hot pies…
I hope Biff remembered his SPF 3000. He looks quite pale…
hmm… never had candied sweet potatoes or green bean casserole. Sound good though.
I think cranberry sauce should come out more often than just thanksgiving and christmas. it would be good on any old chicken dinner too…
Happy Thanksgiving American posters! I had my Canadian feast in October, so I don’t get to stuff myself again until Christmas 🙁
For some reason, Biff with coconuts is hotter than Biff topless.
If for some reason people decided at the last moment that turkey was not on the menu for Tday there would be a mass collapse in the food industry. You would see a billion dollar industry drown in turkey meat. The same goes for yams.
BTW candied yams are on the menu all year long but leave off the marshmallows as they are only for charing over fire.
Man, you could sometimes get away with the Thanksgiving Luau for Canadian Thanksgiving. It’s usually still pretty warm in the middle of October.
I have candied yams every year, and this year my dad actually made a dish of green beans, it was very good! Though i weep at the loss of the marshmallows. Lol. Biff in a coconut bra instead of just a normal hawiian shirt? He must of wanted it to be extra authentic. 😀
Epic. Win. xD I wanna go!!
Why is biff wearing a bra?
