Chapter: Comics
I’m looking forward to flying some kites with my son this spring. He hasn’t gotten much past running around with a tiny paper kite phase. I’ll teach him about feeling the direction of the wind, how to get a good launch, how to recover from a dive. Also I will inevitably teach him about dealing with the loss of a kite because the string broke or a tree ate it or the crossbar snapped. But hey, now we get to go pick out a new design!
Also, Look! It’s Biff’s 6th birthday! Woo! To celebrate all Biff books are just $6!

If this kite design had existed for real and would be available to buy, then maybe I would have been interested in flying a kite when I was a kid… Or maybe a kite that looks like a dragon? (Kites and dragons are called the same word – drake – in Swedish)
I actually had a kite, but I never really flew it. Well, I tried once, but the only thing that happened was that the kite was rolling around on the lawn.
I lost many a kite to those blasted trees, I remember not to long ago visiting a park where one particular tree was coated in broken kites.
My kite among them.
finally, a kite for charlie brown 🙂
I know how to make a kite from plastic wrap and soda straws, and a really decent kite cut from a paper bag. So, even if I don’t have a good store-bought kite, I’m never far away from flying one.
I lived on an airforce base as a kid. I had a kite up so high the military police came by and told me to bring it back down, the air traffic controllers were afraid a plane would hit it.
You should have said you were trying to hitch a ride.
This one has also made me laugh out loud.
biff is good at defying physics, isn’t he?
he should seriously consider getting a job at aperture science.
Maybe he did. The portal gun has Biff written allllllll over it =P
