Chapter: Comics
I always pretended flashlights were lightsabers when I was a kid (and pretty much any other time nobody is looking.) It was most exciting when someone discovered a white plastic tube that was used for protecting golf clubs during shipping. The tubes were just the right diameter and length to duct tape to the end of a flashlight. Running around in the yard at night was a lot more fun with your very own glowing lightsaber. Ah duct tape.

Watch where you swing that thing, Biff.
Maybe he could use duct tape to patch the missing chunk of wall back in place…
Oh, BTW: SF Movie week.
I heard a story about a police officer playing with a flash light like it was a light saber and causing an accident because the drivers thought he was directing traffic.
@MaskedMan
good call
Duct tape is just like the force. It’s got a light side and a dark side, and it binds the galaxy together.
Wish I’d been original enough to come up with that one.
That guy probably never watched a Star Wars movie.
Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side and holds the universe together.
My favorite use of Duct Tape this year was using it to keep my passenger side mirror attached to my car for a month before I could fix it properly. My favorite use of Duct tape as a kid was silver gloves… incidentally my hands don’t seem to grow hair anymore.
Did not see THAT punchline coming.
I had one of those flashlights they use to guide planes and stuff in to land; the orange plastic part was only like 10 inches long but it worked.
THEY HAVE LIGHTSABERS FOR THE WII NOWADAYS!
And what makes it worse is, they are only used for ONE GAME.
…bit of a waste of money…
…3 foot pole+breakable stuff+small room+swinging=moneyloss
When the going gets tough, the tough use duct tape.
@ MaskedMan: what movie was yesterday’s comic?
@YukiYukimura: That equation is fairly universal. It doesn’t just apply when there’s a Jedi Wii game.
Duct tape.. a million uses and counting.
@Cari; Any of the SW Movies (Biff as a droid), or (not really a movie, but in the genre) “The Cage” – the ST:ToS pilot (Biff as Capt. Christopher Pike).
We need a duct tape week !!! ^_^
@MaskedMan: now that I think about it, yesterday’s Biff does kind of remind me of Davros from Dr. Who.
This page made me laugh out loud!
