Chapter: Comics
I lend and borrow things from friends and neighbors all the time. The only time it has become a problem is when I have moved to another state. A few months after the move I’ll be looking for something figuring that it must still be packed away in a box somewhere. Then… “Argh! That guy Paul has it and conveniently forgot to mention it as we said goodbye for the last time!” Paul still won’t return my emails. I’m squinting my eyes at you Paul… squinting I say!

Most obscure theme week?
I would believe that the theme is “borrowing”, good sir.
I’ve got a list naming the things I borrowed to someone else and below the stuff I borrowed..otherwise I’d forget to whom I have to return all that stuff 🙂
“Neither a borrower nor a lender be” – Some dude who wouldn’t spot me a fiver.
I have been borrowing some thing for a very long time. Rock and Roll Racing for the Super Nintendo I have been borrowing from before the Nintendo 64 came out. I don’t think they actually wanted it back.
By Jove! Thanks, stranger.
OK, then. How about theme best at hiding in plain sight week? Maybe it’s not too late for me to get some sleep Tuesday after all.
Mr. Paul sir, I demand you return Chris’ whatever it is, and promptly!
I generally loan out video games, but i do it in a manner reminisent of pawn shops; Meaning if you wanna borrow one from me, you’d better bring me one in exchange. I’ve actually gotten some of my more interesting games in this manner.
At least this way ensures that you’ll bring my game back at the best, and at least I’ve gotten some new and interesting game at the worst.
I don’t get this one. A little help please.
He borrowed cheese. He ate cheese. Now it’s time to return cheese, hinted at by the plumber’s helper…..gross!
Toilet humor. I’m so glad I read this during my lunch break…
It is written in a book of somewhat dubious origins that there exists a planet where the depleting effects of tourism on the ecosystem has become so severe that any difference between body mass at departure over mass at arrival is surgically removed before you can leave. Therefore it is vitally important any time you go to the euphemism to get a receipt. Oops?
When I was in school and I asked to borrow a piece of paper, one of my friends would answer “What, are you going to give it back when you’re done with it?”
I’ll never see my Katamari Damacy game again.
@Mad David – My teachers used to say that to anyone who wanted to “borrow” paper…
I know how you feel, I could SWEAR that the last time I saw my Crystal Healing book, it was in my friends arms while she pleaded with me to lend it to her.
(*crystal healing – IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!11ONE*)
@Baughbe When I read your post, at first I thought you said “Wouldn’t spot me a liver”
