Chapter: Comics
I wish I was able to pick my own vacation days back in school. Instead we just had the standard holidays all clumped together at the end of the year. I wanted something more spread out like every other Friday off.

Man, I wish I could hoard away non-tangible things for later use. Would make things a lot easier. I’d probably shove all my boredom into a dusty shoe box.
I still want every other friday off! Tuesdays too, I can never get the hang of Tuesdays.
i wish i could hoard time.. i always need more time and it’s never just laying around the house…..
I wish my random days off weren’t on stupid days.
Like thursdays. I randomly get a thursday off now and again and its stupid because then I get back in for friday.
Though, theres a rumor that instead of getting days off, we’re getting half days now. OH NOES.
Then I might need Biffs help with packing away summer days.
Sigh. I need some of those so I can visit college campuses. 🙁 That’s not counted as a school approved absence anymore.

Everyother Friday off would rock out loud.
@Kit-Kun – I know, right?
Right now it’s pretty good for me, they added 10 minutes to the school day and now we get out a 1:45 every friday, mondays off is more favorable to me for that reason. a particularly devious idea is the “collaborative day” where teachers have a meeting in the morning, so school starts at 10:15, robbing us of getting out early enough to do something interesting with an extended afternoon
I’ve been saving all my Saturdays, but I can never remember where I buried them…
And I had to come back and actually read the comic, ’cause the text is one size too small to read on my phone! Worth the trip though, of course.
And they’re trying to figure out how we can do a four ten-hour days schedule at work. Cross your favorite appendages that it works!
I remember school. Because I live in Washington state, we had many days off. It’s a surprise that we did any learning.
I’m amazed you didn’t draw this Biff with a squirrel-like tail for emphasis. *L*
If I dig up Biff’s days off, can I take them???
And now to convince a few neighborhood dogs to bury some of their extra time, so I can dig that up too…
It’s hard to imagine the caption not being recited by a stuffy nature documentary guy.
If I could bury my days off, I would end up going to every other work week… But that’s just due to a very strange schedule. A man can dream, though… A man can dream.
Yay! is it vacation week or winter plans week?
Being able to take vacation days for school would be amazing…
I’m looking forward to my next sabbatical here at work–six weeks of paid vacation (must be taken in one lump) in addition to the four weeks per year I already accrue. I get a sabbatical every five years, this is my third. I’m eligible to take it, I just need to find the time to be able to do so.
As for certain days off, I know someone who probably wouldn’t mind Thursdays. He never could get the hang of Thursdays…
Biff at least gets vacation days to bury. I have a friend whose former employer not only stopped giving out vacation days, but revoked those that had already been accrued by it’s employees — and made them work half-days on Saturdays as well! (A non-unionized health insurance company, natch. It got swallowed by a larger competitor a few years later, and everyone’s job was either outsourced or was grandfathered to the competitor’s employees. They also lost their pensions as well…)
@reynard. Ouch.
My old middle scool had half day every Friday and it was a club day to boot! So instead of going to calss I got to play street hockey and watched Monty Python every Friday. Only problem was I had a 3 hour bus ride to and from school. So 3 hours on the bus, 3 hours at school, and 3 hours on the bus again. That was te only sucky part.
I wonder if Biff occasionally forgets where he buried them sometimes, and finds the ones he forgot about years later.
They did away with roll-over vacation days. I have a few days still banked that I need to use by the end of the year. After that, the vacation cupboard will be bare.
🙁
I need to remember that one
