#632 – Grumble

Chapter: Comics
Lately the only time I have to watch TV is during dinner. This isn’t always what the producers of television have in mind when they make their shows. A few minutes into a show we recently watched showed a bunch of people that had their skin suddenly start to melt and peel away. Kinda puts a buzz kill on spaghetti night.

Wrong action week. :p
Another reason why tv should not be in a gym XD
Long time reader, first time poster. Curse you Chris, I was supposed to be doing my homework while I was on the computer, but this comic suddenly provoked a suprise laugh from me. My mom heard me and I almost got in trouble. Anyways, I need to get back to work.
p.s. Maybe I’ll start posting regularly. I mean, I read the comic and the comments regularly.
Man, the public does not seem to be very happy with Biff this week. Poor guy, it’s not his fault that he has barely gotten out of his house the past 629 strips…
Biff will NOT be invited to the Weight-Watchers’ Convention…
Interesting show you were watching there, Chris.
does biff actually use the gym? or just work there? on that subject, where does he work, sometimes he’s in an office, once or twice at school, and he often works at the grocery store, just some brain food for ya, think about it
People who watch TV at the gym are funny. Do they really think they are doing any good for themselves walking 2 miles an hour on the treadmill while watching a soap opera?
HAH! somthing i have always wanted to do…. but set up a video player that had a video of junkfood and ice cream commecials lawl!
that remote looks familiar
Why ARE there TVs at gyms? Speakers would do much better…
I say trash the TV’s and just hang delectables in front of the treadmills to make them run faster.
Hmm. My prediction yesterday was off. Now I’m thinking “Unclear on the Concept” week, or maybe “Socially Inept” week.
I don’t like gyms at all, anyway, so I’d just cut the power and be done. Then I’ll go outside and exercise in nature – Much more satisfying.
Before my dad retired, he used to love making a microwave popcorn on his break, and then take a walk while he ate it. Wouldn’t you know it? He always ended up walking past the lunch hour aerobics class. They hated him, and he loved being a bit of a jerk.
By jove, I think PSterlingcake’s got it! Or is at least on to something.
But where is the satisfaction? How do we ever really know what some of these trickier themes are? If no one guesses correctly, does Chris win? Report, please.
Nice Avatar, Signum!
I love watching the food network while on the treadmill, actually. Guess I’m weird.
The gym I attend seems to always be on the food channel. And everyday I see Paula sticking her finger in everything she cooks and I can’t help but wonder what Gordon Ramsey would say if he was her co host.
My college’s gym also had the Food Network on half of its TVs. It seems somewhat silly to me, though as a vegetarian I don’t really want to eat most of the things I see on there anyway.
Nice, I hate watching the food network…especially before dinner, becasue I know what is on the TV wont be on my plate for supper…until I move away from home to college..damn lazy parent’s, why don’t they love cooking as much as I do. Oh and the reason I don’t cook now is becasue I have lots of overtime at work, and don’t get home until they are laredy done cooking supper!
Oh and Chris…that sounds like that Fringe episode…you know, the first one..what a cool show.
This one is definitely one of my favorites now.
@Ian – 5 points!

Awwh man. No backwards writing… dangit. Why isn’t Biff wearing his cool excersize(sp?) clothes??
i swear every time i go to the gym i see like 3 tvs on the food network where the rest are on sports
Huzzah Five points!
Hahahaha, by any chance was that TV show Fringe?
Biff, whatever you do, do not go into the weight room, likely chance you do, you’ll be crushed from weights.
