#308 – Fight

I like restaurant style nachos where you get a plate piled 10 inches high with meat and cheese and beans and chips and salsa and guacamole and sour cream. I can never finish them by myself and have to take the rest home. They’re not very good as leftovers. The chips become all soggy and I kind of have to eat them with a fork. I sometimes wish they would just sell them as the chips and a really fancy bean and cheese dip to eat them with.

  1. Tvae says:

Ahahaha. I don’t really like nachos and cheese, so for me fighting would actually be the more sensical way to go.

  2. Shaggy says:

I too must defeat my food before eating it. Doesn’t everyone?

  3. Brett says:

    Brett encountered wild Samich.

    Brett defeated wild Samich.

    Brett grew to lvl 2!

Lawl, another hilarious comic Chris. Keep up the good work!

  4. Kufat says:

I like Red Robin’s redundantly-named Cheeseburger con Queso. Delicious spicy cheese sauce with bits of burger and a few different kind of chips to dip. (And their burgers are fantastic, of course.)

  5. I just had some nachos. They didn’t put up much of a fight though.

  6. Colten says:

that samich thing was stolen from vgcats great comic anyweay

  7. karl says:

Oh Biff, whenever will you learn to not play fight with your food?

  8. Darkr0nin says:

    Rouge nachos…

    Street fighter Biff go!

  9. Donte Taylor says:

Well, in Baltimore, to “smash” food means to “eat” it like you’re really hungry (quick and such). I guess Biff took smashing food literally.

The nachos never stood a chance…

  10. Micah says:

Everything tastes better if you kill it yourself?

  11. RFPT says:

but how do you determine when nachos are dead?

  12. SamJaz says:

nothing funny about that. I fight my food all the time. I’m punching the chicken right now.

  13. Tim says:

I never buy nachos at restaurants anymore these days. They always pile everything over the nachos and smother them. When I finally manage to dig down deep enough to get the nachos at the bottom they’re already all soggy and inedible.

I wish they’d keep the meat, sauce & cheese in one pile, and then let us combine the nachos, sour cream and guacamole at our leisure…

    A man can dream, I suppose…

  14. trueblaze says:

I guess this week must be deticated to Biff’s trouble with crumbly food.

But Biff should be careful, those toco shells over there look like they may wanna avenge their breatheren.

  15. Tinned Moron says:

Eating them while they’re still alive is a bad idea, then they burst out of your stomach after exploring the secret dungeon you have hidden in your intestines. Sometimes they’ll say something witty as well.

Biff’s got the right idea, but next time he should have a board with a nail in it handy, those things can be nasty.

  16. dragonbrad says:

“Eye of the tiger it’s the king of the fight…” I just couldn’t resist, Kufat , I see the commercials but i can’t seem to find a Red Robbin, the burgers look so good :p. Chris I want your book so bad but I cant get it T.T. Also I am not to fond of guacamole, I will eat it, I will just get sick if I eat to much of the stuff. And Also, I want too eet sum frozun yogert.

  17. Kuroiten says:

When man and nachos meet, only one will survive…

Covered with the detrius of his battle, the noble Biff sits down wearily to eat.

I hate it when food gains sentience and rises against us, don’t you?

  18. MoonWolf says:

By the looks of things, it seems as if the nachos actually tried to fight back. Look, there’s a tortilla chip trying to munch on his head.

  19. Supernaut says:

So it seems biff cought the first part of the food reblion we are all so worried about.

  20. Micah says:

He looks ready to fight another dish.

  21. Miranda says:

This reminds me of my brother-in-law. No matter where we are, if he sees nachos, he must eat them. I’ve seen him eat the cheapest, most overpriced nachos with a huge grin on his face.

  22. Abby says:

I just read through the archives today… yay for people from the Chicago suburbs!

  23. Bob says:

Biff really is a work of art. I spent from 6AM to 4PM trying to get my internet working, only to find a spare NIC (Network Interface Card) in my closet, and for it to magically start working. By the way, can you point me to the raffle page?

  24. Chris says:

Hey Bob – You enter the raffle by making a donation, there’s a link on the main homepage or if you are here you can click the one in the sidebar to the right where it says “make a donation”

  25. Drake94 says:

All food must be killed before you eat it… some types of food just put up more of a fight.

    I want nachos now…

  26. Kozo the Kid says:

    North Star Nacho Killing Attack?
Poor Nachos. Biff owned them. Shoulda eaten them, though.

  27. Sye216 says:

    Nachos, Nachos, nachos.

When will they learn that siding with the inferior nacho cheese will get them nowhere.

If the nachos had WANTED to survive, they would’ve fought with a good cheese wheel instead.

  28. Ghostviper says:

    nachos r yummy

  29. However, not fighting the nachos would be admitting defeat.
Also, one of my local bars has the most incredible nachos. Chips, smothered in cheddar, melted, throw on some lettuce and diced tomatoes, then some chili, then it is sprinkled with chunks of chicken and steak. In the centre is a fairly decent sized cup some real (not that uber-manufactured crap) salsa con queso for dipping (it also has two smaller cups of salsa and sour cream). It is terribly expensive, but also terribly delicious.

  30. Soulofaqua says:

We yesterday had tortilla’s with Nacho’s cheese meat and egg we where out off salsa and I don’t like the beans and guacemole

  31. pieman says:

    i could kill a pizza

  32. Mr dude says:

couldn’t you just kill a pie?

  33. Tomahawk Man says:

So long as it’s not a blueberry one.

  34. the Scarf says:

*sigh* Biff…you amuse me once again….Why fight nachos?

By the way, I think this is a theme week….He has had something related to food stick to him in some way in the last three comics….on to the next! lets see If I’m right…

  35. chrome says:

nachos are always fun to fight with!

  36. Sally says:

Am I the only one that sees the Nacho Libre Reference here?

  37. Matanui3 says:

Sounds like some of the stuff you end up fighting on Improbable Island…
