#286 – Scratch

Going through the boxes of stuff in the attic at the house I grew up in I would frequently find some sort of object that had no obvious use. For some reason somebody decided to save this thing but nobody knows what it is. The box of old toys is probably the worst. Lots of little bits of colorful plastic that seem like they would snap onto some sort of larger object. It’s nearly impossible to figure out if the larger objects still exist or if the little bits are all that are left.
I finished the design for the book cover today. I’ll post the final art here when it’s finished. The sketch version of the book has been more popular than I anticipated. I think I only have one regular version ordered so far ๐ So I think I will be discontinuing the sketch version or at least raising the price once the preorder is over.

yeah, i’d get the book if i had the spare money for it.
My keyboard has backlighting, which is completly pointless when the lighting is off, as all the keys go completly black. also gots an LCD with some pretty handy apps. but my computer never came with a backscratcher. i think a beltsander would work better tho
At least Biff doesn’t have a wireless keyboard.
If I tried that, I’d probably inadvertantly google bondage or something equally embarrassing. It’s happened!
Eeew…people get enough gross things stuck in between their keyboard keys..
It’s pretty frightening to add back hair to the mix..
Good comic idea, I cant say that I havent used my keyboard as a pillow a few times.. (Or stress reliever *Bang Bang Bang!!*)
I think I spilled a little bit of primordal soup in between my keys.. theres no telling whats growing in there..
Lol. Hilarious. I wonder what scrambled his brain… A blow to the head as a child? Alien rays? XD
Ah, reminds me, i tried to make ‘chocolate drinks’ when i was younger. Dropped a few smarties into a cup of water. Failed, and also got reprimanded. XD
My keyboard’s just about as good as a back scratcher right now. Well, the one in the living room is, anyway. NOT. USER. FRIENDLY! It’s like someone dumped glue on it before they added the keys…
OMG! Just genious ^^
I like this comic, it’s just so stupid what Biff does!
Greetings from Germany
I am reminded of the story about the person who complained to tech support that their computer’s cupholder is now broken…..
Wow…
I just spent my entire afternoon reading all 286 Biff comics.
VERY funny stuff, man. I’ll definitely be reading this from now on ๐
Thanks oreos, I’m glad you liked them. Stop by tomorrow for a brand new one… now I just gotta draw it. ๐
You know, I opened up a brand new Computer, and it had an extension that did not go to the computer at all, it may have been a factory error or something. At any rate, it made a really good dog leash.
(I just read from #1 to this one… It is a nice little webcomic with a far-sidey feel that makes it that much better.)
Thanks Macabelle, I’m glad you like the comics. ๐
everybody gonna dance tonight, everybody gonna feel all right, everybody gonna dance around tonight. – Paul Mcartney. Chris you just had to make a comic that reminded me of that song, great know i am gonna be talking in my sleep tonite.
Awesome, just awesome. I love Biff. New reader, just started reading about yesterday. They are great. Good job, can’t wait to see more.
Thanks Jameson, stick around for a few minutes and the new comic will be live. ๐
I lol’d at this one.
I had to try this. As it turns out, old keyboards make incredible back scratchers. Try it, really. It feels great. You need to keep the cable out of the way though. I recommend the old Dell QuietKey.
I actually tried it myself as well. I couldn’t get the arm position correct without doing it for real first. ๐

I don’t think biff has hair…all the hair that would be on his body is funnelled into the growth of his eyebrows…
Kinda like people who thought a computer mouse was some kind of foot-pedal…
My broadsword came with a backscratcher.
