I used to get a lot more exercise at my last day job. A few times a day I had to go see people many cubicles away from my desk. Plus the cafeteria was down a floor and across the courtyard in a separate building. All that stair climbing each day really adds up. At least I think that’s why I’ve had to buy new pants.
Today’s Maximumble is missing something.
Ahhhhhh, walking the desk, although I let it go where ever it wants, I need paperclips
Biff seems real…umm…excited to be out walking that desk today!
You know how that goes. the desk will either stop at every tree or shrub, or it’ll want back inside as soon as you go out.
I got a lot more exercise when I still was in school. The class rooms were quite far away from each other, and to get to the computer room (everyone’s favourite room for some reason) you had to walk up creaky wooden stairs.
And what does the desk do in the bushes? Does it leave a pile of shredded paper or something, instead of… you know, stuff that isn’t too pleasant to pick up…

My desk eats my pens. They aren’t allowed in the drawers anymore. I have a cup of them sitting on my printer and when it starts to overflow, or i have some that don’t really work anymore, i’ll put them in a desk drawer and walk away.
“Good desk. I’ll give you more tomorrow if you don’t eat my English Essay. I’ll give you some post it notes if you promise not to attack my toe when i get up for a glass of water in the middle of the night.”
I Knew I wasn’t the only one! only, mine likes my knee, and my elbow, more then my toe…my bird likes to bite my toes…
When my desk is angry at me it will randomly stick out a drawer at knee or hip height and i’ll spend a few minutes limping around and cussing. I have a cat and she likes to eat pencils and sleep on the keyboard. preferably when i’m trying to get work done. I try reminding her that her decendants were proud warriors who hunted down prey 100 times her size but she doesn’t care.
