My only sister is eleven years older than me. Whatever toys she had as a kid didn’t last into my childhood. When I would go over to a friend or neighbor’s house I would sometimes find myself in the unfamiliar world of dolls and tiny houses. Look at all this cool miniature furniture! You can open the refrigerator! The bathroom even has a toilet!
Today’s Maximumble floats like a butterfly.
Biff suddenly became an unwelcome guest.
Nice doll house, is it safe to say biff is house-broken?
I’ll shut up now.
I think that it’s safer to say that the house is Biff-broken. *runs and hides*
I give you props for that one.
When I was a little kid, grandma used to give me Barbie dolls and such things as birthday gifts and christmas presents, though I *never* played with them. I just kept on playing with my dinosaurs and Star Wars figures… 🙂
However, if I got a shrink ray, I would shrink myself to the same size as my Fimo clay figures (about 17 centimetres -or 6,8 inches- tall) to see what they would look like if they were as tall as a real human. Yeah, that would probably make my own, handmade figures look incredibly creepy…
It took me a little bit to figure out that was a tea cup Biff’s holding.
Just about every kid n the Western Hemisphere has a fascination for doll houses and furniture. It’s either the idea of making everything “just so” by arranging items, or getting the accessory packs to customize. Or, maybe it appeals to one’s inner Godzilla.
@Kingklash – I was definitely an inner Godzilla kid. I would make the dolls climb up on the roof, and then depending on the mood they would either jump, be Godzilla’d off the roof, or “accidentally” fall.
The scary part?
My 2 year old daughter got a doll house for Christmas this year. I hear her saying “Oh no!” several times in a row, and go to investigate – turns out she takes after me.
