Chapter: Comics
I sometimes wish hats with chin straps were back in fashion. Although I guess a baseball cap with a chin strap would be a bit much. I had to always resort to constantly looking slightly down when I wore one on windy days. The wind would always seem to catch it in the most inopportune times like while travelling over a bridge on my bicycle. Goodbye little blue cap. You served me well.
Today’s Maximumble tastes great.

Baseball caps + riding at any speed above a crawl while on a boat also = soggy, sinking sorrow.
you could turn the sun shield into your neck as well, but that kinda defeats the purpose.
That’s why i resort to trooper caps. Enough protection for the eyes, without the dangers of air stealing my hat.
One of those wind-blown caps got me a date, once… ‘Cause I happened to be fast-on-the-draw that day and snagged it before it hit the (muddy) ground, and the girl it belonged to was both grateful and cute. 🙂
I’ve never had a cap blow away from me, but maybe that’s because I always place my hand on top of my head (with the cap on it) when I feel the slightest puff of wind. Sometimes I feel kinda silly when doing this, but hey, at least my favorite cap (a leather cap, similar to the one Rob Halford wears sometimes) has never blown away!
Kaiser helmets are exemptions.
When I was little, a teacher at my school moved to ban chin straps because they were a danger hazard.
Needless to say, everyone called her Mrs. Fashonista for the rest of the year… Though she did have a point, nobody wanted to believe her.

Or you could do what I do and just not wear caps. (In fact, I don’t wear any headgear — except bicycling helmets — until winter.)
As in opposite to me then, because I never go outside the apartment without any headgear (usually my leather cap). It’s because I’ve gotten so used to wearing it, so it would just feel weird, almost wrong, to feel the wind in my hair. 🙂

Also if worn over your cap, it’ll not fly away.
