#1355 – Scorched

It was always a strange sensation to be on the bus again at the start of a new school year. There were some kids that you hadn’t seen in months. They still looked the same but somehow different. The strangest was seeing the brand new kids for the first time. How old is that kid? Did he just move here or is he just now old enough to go to our school? Mysterious.

Today’s Maximumble is watching you.

I misinterpreted the thumbnail as the shadow of a giant bird swooping down to snatch up little Biff 😛

The first day of school always comes as relief to me: I finally have something to justify my “existence.” For some reason, I always feel like a squatter in my own home when I’m not doing something productive with my day… :/

Yeah. I wait all school year for summer to start… two weeks later I’m waiting for school to start..

    Oooh, burn!

School is almost here – would BE here already, in fact, if not for the intervention of Mother Nature. Means earlier mornings, earlier nights, and much worse traffic. Where’s *my* rocket, to bring my commute back into reason..?

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that this’ll be “Educating Biff” week…

That whole school bus thing is such an alien concept to me. I walked to elementary school, and so did just about everyone I’ve ever known (and those that didn’t biked, or in rare cases were taken to school by their parents).

A.K.A-how to have a blast on your first day of school.
