#1233 – Bisect

I read a lot of novels during lunch break at work. Even though these are books that I could get from my library I would wind up buying them. Something about the pressure of trying to finish the book before the due date made it less enjoyable. But then since there was no time limit some books would take many months to read.

Today’s Maximumble will start you out right.

Also, if you are in Seattle, come and see me at the Emerald City Comicon starting Friday!

Does the author’s name on that book say…. *squints*… Chris something?

I lent my friend a book at the start of the year last year. She finished reading it a week ago and I only just got it back. IT was one of those really short ones that take at the very most 5 hours to read (for me, at least), with only about 200 pages. I said nothing.

    ‘Secret Of The Wizzy Gobble’.

That is one of the best book titles I’ve ever seen.

Library book sales is my #1 source of reading material. I understand about reading under a deadline. My problem is I’ll read 4 or 5 books at the same time. Reading a bit out of each according to what mood I am in. So it takes a while to finish any one of them.

I rarely read library books. Namely due to the limitations.

I normally sit in barnes and nobles and read, Ive read 5 books this way and no one ever bothers you.

Library books are great. Most libraries will let you renew your book a time or two before you actually have to return it. Then you could also return it and then check it right back out for a little longer. Also the maximun fine on a overdue book is usually way less than if I actually had to go and buy the book.

I don’t really have problems with library due dates. 2-3 weeks from libraries around here is more than enough to read the 5+ books I check out at a time. Of course, it helps that reading is one of my favourite pasttimes.

^ Im so glad SOME people enjoy it as much as I do.

Libraries are great!! We get six 2 week renewals…. I guess Biff “saw” a book he only half read…

  11. Cari says:

Shouldn’t that be “Harry Potter and the Secret of the Wizzy Wobble”?

  12. Sean Ellis says:

I’ve resisted for a week, but the compulsion just grows and grows. I lose sleep. I ask my friends, but they do not know. Please, tell me…

What *is* the secret of the Wizzy Wobble?
