Chapter: Comics
When I was a kid, donating stuff was a big deal. My mom would phone someone and make an appointment for them to come to our house. They would come by and my mom would have the living room filled with garbage bags full of stuff to give away. There was days of preparation leading up to this. Nowadays there’s lots of drop-off boxes in the parking lots of grocery stores and shopping malls. No phone calls or people involved. Just jammed a bag of clothes into the giant metal mailbox on your way to the store to buy more stuff.
Today’s Maximumble was worth the wait.
Also, if you are in Seattle, come and see me at the Emerald City Comicon starting Friday!

my sisters would long for some store to donate brains cause apparently i do not have one they are the brainless ones
We still call the Salvation Army to pick stuff up….
By the sounds of it, he already did.
There’s only one charity I make a point to avoid donating a lot of money to; the one that forces you to take three teddies every time you donate $15 +
… When I did donate to it, I was also weekly donating a bag full of teddies to the Salvation Army.

I take it the donation is in the bag?
@ Gwid: i want a teddy
Is that his main brain in the bag, or the backup?
I think the drop-off boxes are a great idea. I’m quite sure more people donate with them around.
Apparently you can’t donate other people’s brains, either.
I just donated a bunch of dolls to a worthy cause: To help poverty-strickened Thai orphans from being manipulated.
Sure, I could have gone with the original plan of donating them to Goodwill, but someone who was well-off could have bought them. Besides, I was tired of Barbie and her creepy looks.
How about a walk up service to donate someone elses brain?
“BDBDBD!” I forget the name of the bodily half of the Buck Rogers in the Twenty First Century robot, or I would properly cite the quote.
