I liked drawing crazy cars when I was a kid. I didn’t have any real insight into how cars actually worked so I would have lots of extra wheels and pipes and wings and rocket launchers. In reality there would never be any room for passengers… or engines for that matter.

A few of them even had some slight changes done to the drawing when I came across one that must have been drawn at 2AM while I was half asleep. The cars I drew resembled lumps with wheels. I think lots of extra bits is acceptable, Chris. Besides, it’s a good thing it didn’t have room for passengers as well as not having room for an engine – no-one would ever know, because no-one would be able to try it out.
Who needs engines when you have rocket launchers?
Anyone who has done their own mechanics work on their car quickly realizes the designers never left that stage of drawing. (I have to remove the transmission to change the oil?)
