I started going to big amusement parks when I was just a little kid. I was too small to go on any of the big roller coasters. I would watch my older brother and his friends ride them and try to imagine what it was like. He always told me that “It’s so scary you would probably die 30 seconds into it.” A part of me believed him. I actually waited a few years past when I was big enough to ride them to try my first one. I loved it and instantly outgrew all the “kiddie” rides and only rode the big coasters from that point on.

I’ve only ever rode two significant roller coasters in my whole life: The Wild Beast at Canada’s Wonderland, and Dragon Mountain at Marine Land. I really want to tackle the latter again. The rush was amazing, and the fleeting glimpses of the surrounding forest and valley were mind-blowing.

I love roller coasters – Except just before that first drop. I’m always asking myself “What the hell am I doing here?!” just before that first plunge. Then the adrenalin hits me, and I remember why I’m there – the RUSH!
Is the text meant to say “Biff makes sure to keep his medication out of reach of children “under” 42 inches tall.” ? because that would make a little more sense to me.
I just got back from a trip to Holiday World which was… sub-par. We’d originally bought tickets for two days but ended up getting a refund for the second day. We did the water park the first day and the second day was supposed to be the day for coasters. We got there as soon as the park opened so we wouldn’t have to wait in line for the first couple of rides. We get to the queue for the first roller coaster — and are forced to leave by the staff. They were just beginning the preliminary safety testing and wouldn’t be done until afternoon. That’s fine, we go to the next coaster. It’s closed until afternoon for testing. We don’t even get to the third coaster before we’re told by people coming from there it’s also closed. All the coasters are closed. With no big attractions open, all the lower-quality rides take on the lines of the coasters. You wind up waiting for thirty minutes to ride a swing ride that only makes 5 revolutions before stopping. And then you get a refund and go to Mammoth Cave instead. For me, Mammoth Cave makes for a much better trip than a theme park anyway.
Now, on the comic, wouldn’t being on such a ride keep the medication from children under 42 inches tall?
Top two coasters I’ve been on:
Top Thrill Dragster (Cedar Point) – You have to ride it to understand. It’s just… pure adrenaline. It’s awesome.
Eejanaika (Fuji-Q Highland) – The second (true) fourth dimension coaster, after X. I’ve never been on X, but…. Eejanaika makes up for that fact. More pure adrenaline, except not all at one single instant.
Yeah, coasters can be pretty addicting… Good to know you’re a fan too, Chris.

I think the best one I’ve been on yet was the Borg Assimilator at Carowinds. its a face down, adrenaline packed ride thats awesome…
That medication must not be strong enough for biff.
Anyways, I once went on a roller coaster that looked absoulutley tiny from the outside, but it seemed to take forever when I was actually riding it, it seemed really fast even, of course, that’s the only roller coaster I’ve ever been on so I have nothing to compare it’s speed to.
In China where safety rules are few and far between the local Go-Kart track sits just downstairs from a bar. You must go through the bar to get to the cars, it’s really great fun and so ridiculously dangerous that I am awestruck every time I go there.

I’ve never gotten sick on a coaster before, but all my friends seem to. I need to get new friends so I don’t have to ride The Titan at Six Flags Over Texas all by myself.

I love roller coasters. At Busch Gardens Williamsburg, The Griffon is Intense. It has a 90 degree drop right at the beginning that if you’re on the front row, is terrifying!!!

Eh,I’m tall so I never had the height problem.In fact i’m 7 inches taller than my best friend.When we go to the local amusement park I always make her stand against those marked thingies to make sure she’s tall enough.
I live within a hour`s drive of Six Flags Magic Mountain. I`m pretty sure we all know what that means.
I’ve never been to anywhere that has roller coasters, and even if I had, I’m not sure if I’d go on one anyway, I’m not a fan of heights or moving very fast.
For the most extreme roller coaster I have been on would have to be King Da Ka. Front Row Seat. Had my hands off the bar for the ride down.

There is a rollercoaster at the Great America right here in the bay area called that. Wonder if it was the inspiration.
I love riding roller coasters. Problem is, the fast movement causes me to have seizures.

of course, it probably doesn’t help that i’m heightophobic~
anyway, the 2 were:
some random green dragon rollercoaster at a crappy-eco thingy
and sonic spinball at alton towers. i went on it twice in a row. both times i ended up saying craaaaaaappppppp…. what have i got myself into???…
both times took me 5 minutes queue time in the single riders lane.
I tried a 3rd time, but more people had arrived by then, it would’ve taken hours!
