Chapter: Comics
Most every kind of food tastes better when it’s fresh rather than store bought. Waffles, pie, mashed potatoes. Some things are generally too labor intensive and are probably purchased from a store more often than made, such as ice cream. There are some foods though that are just better in the pre-packaged variety, like Hot Pockets. There’s something about the freezing process that really brings out the flavor that I never had when I was a kid and my mom made them the traditional Czechoslovakian way.

*whispering*Here we see the wild pre-packaged saltine cracker in its semi-natural habitat, completely unaware of our presence.
And hey if the soup gets away, still got tasty cracker powder to eat!
Ambush week?
But in all seriousness, I honestly think that everything tastes better fresh. With a rather literal interpretation of “fresh”.
Sushi, Salads, Soup… Lots of things that don’t necessarily start with s 😀
We know Brian comes from there, because he didnt mispell it in its possessive form. XD
Is Bif wielding a TzHaar Ket-Om?
I’ll agree for most things that fresh is best, but stews and chowders generally improve in flavor if you give it a day before you eat it. Lets the flavors blend together more.
Spaghetti. I can’t stand day-old noodles *shudder*.
Yes, most things do taste best fresh, but there are some things that just taste better after being in the fridge for a day or two (i.e.- Chicken, Rice, Spaghetti, etc.)
And back on to a previous comic, I wonder how hard it would be for Biff to catch a fresh batch of brownies. How long does he need to wait before approaching those?
Oh, the scary stories I could tell of non-fresh food from the days of submarines..! Let’s just say that ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ isn’t *just* a story by Theodor Geisel…
Is that the Pea Soup River of ancient mythology? While most things are better fresh, there are a few things that must be properly aged. Cheese, Wine, Braaaaiiiinnnnsssssssss
It’s green week!
Using a recycling bin, sending a CD instead of using the energy for the computer, and catching things natural instead of buying it.
Yup.
And after he mashes the soup with that mallet he’ll just fold it up and head for home. Cause he can.
And I mean fold the soup, not the mallet. Ya can’t fold a mallet, that’s just silly.
Biff can pulverize crackers in one blow…a hunter.
“Czechoslovakian way”? Do you come from here? 🙂
@mathio – I’m a few generations removed, but my Mother’s side goes back to there. Do you live there now?
I like that he’s using a hammer to catch soup. clearly the best choice of weapon.
Yes. Well the country was split into almost 20 years ago. I’m from Slovakia. Its a nice disvoery that you have roots here.
I’ve been reading the Biff comics for really a long time now. Keep up the good work 😉
@ Shorty: Nice take. Reminds me of when I drove for The Journal. The driver’s room had these big tall windows facing the street, like in a zoo. So one day someone put up a little sign at the bottom: Journal Drivers in their natural environment.
As far as I can recall, crackers are supposed to be made out of plant-based materials.
