When I first moved I just put everything in unlabeled boxes. That was kind of a pain when I got to the new place. The next time I did the traditional method of labeling each box by the room they go into. That helped but there were still things that took forever to find. Now I give each box a number and I write down the contents in a notebook as I’m packing it. Luckily I’ve never lost that notebook during the move.

Knowing me, I’d copy the list twice, scan it, send it to two or three of my email addresses, save it on an external hdd and the computer

Biff… Ever so practical!
I’ve moved a lot, being a former sailor. The last time, I let the Nav hire a service, instead of doing a DIY move. On the first day of moving, three little old ladies went through the house, and did a room-by-room rough sort, writing everything down. On the second day of moving, the three little old ladies supervised a pack of laborers in packing and boxing up everything, complete with box numbers and inventory sheets. On the third day of moving, there were no little old ladies, but a crew of laborers who had the mountain of boxes up into a truck and gone in less than two hours.
Least painful move, ever. I should’ve done it that way years before.
my only question is where did he get the rocket??? 0-o

I’ve only moved once in my life and i can’t remember it at all. I like your idea. I’m going to use that when I move out.

Ha, he still has his rocket.
As for myself, I’ve only moved once and that was when I was four. I remember going to the storage building where everything was stored, unpacking, and having random people walk through my house, looking at all the rooms. But Biff’s idea is much more practical than what my parents did.
On another note, where did he park/pack his car at?

Now he just needs to load those boxes into his giant invisible blue truck (I assume he keeps it somewhere near his invisible green car)
It’s actually an invisible white moving van. He never had a chance to repaint it after the whole faucet flooded the house incident
