#210 – Time

I’ve always loved time travel in TV and movies. There’s something about the concept that is always fascinating to me. I sometimes have dreams about time travel into the past. Usually the moment in the dream where I realize I can make a fortune at the stock market is when I wake up.

I just had a dream about time travel the other night. I went to bed, and it was 2007. I woke up, and it was november of 1999 again. I was 15 again, but had all my future memories. I went to school, hung out with my old friends and old girlfriend, had a great time. Even came home, had dinner, and went to bed after talking to my (then) girlfriend on the phone. When I woke up, it was 2007 again. I have never felt so depressed. I honestly thought it was real when i was in the dream, like id gotten a second chance to do it all over again, and do it right. go to all my classes, do my homework, be nicer to the girl that got away… *sigh* and it didnt even occur to me until i woke up how rich i could get betting on things i knew from the future. oh well.

    first time post!

  4. Blargen-Vargen says:

Biff answers the age old question… what does Time taste like..

  5. TxMoose says:

So he’s going to mass-market that, right? Like “TimeCola” or “Dr. Time” or “Time & W”. That’d be cool. I’d buy in bulk.

  6. dragonbrad says:

i bottled up sound before it tasted like coke blak, does any one (beside me) drink coke blak, great comic

  7. Hunter says:

Hmm, I never thought it would taste like that.

  8. Vis says:

I had a dream once, where I woke up and 10 years had passed while I was asleep. I logged online and spoke to all my friends and they were all “Who?” “Oh yeah, I kinda remember her…” and everyone had forgotten about me.

I couldn’t sleep properly for days afterwards… (Second post, this time in context!)

  9. Reikon Ame says:

Flat root beer. What time period did he get that time from? It might add to why he can’t get good tasting time. I suggest some time form the 70’s through 80’s for a nice ice cream float taste.

  10. kenshin620 says:

hey, I like flat root beer.

though he might want to try time during marti gra, maybe it’ll taste like booze.

  11. I always just assumed time would taste like boiled sprouts, a bit nasty in the present with an everlasting bitter after taste.

Although I gather the idea has already been commercialised, have you not tried the Mc Timepops ?

  12. Reikon Ame says:

If Biff got time from Marti Gra. It would be the same as going out and buying beer. And who is going to buy expensive beer when they can have regular priced stuff. I mean even if you want to push it you can try some time from Medieval times. It might end up ham flavored or such.

  13. Reikon Ame says:

Just to add on to what I said scratch the ham, you’ll get black plaque flavored soda.
All the great taste none of the disgusting rat.

  14. Mike says:

Does anyone realize that maybe the reason the root beer is flat is because it took “time”? Or is that so obvious it’s not worth saying? Or am I wrong?

  15. Otacon says:

    That is dissapointing to me.
Youd think it would, i dont know taste like happy er somthing.
    I still liked it.

  16. Kuroiten says:

Flat root beer is what time tastes like?

I wonder if Biff is willing to share his bottling techniques…

  17. LordRetard says:

I think any dream where I end up going to the stock market should be considered a failed dream. It was just PLAIN NO GOOD.

I have woken up in a lot of dreams just before it got interesting, or something good happen. It always screws me up so much. I linger in my bed for several hours after waking up whenever I get the chance, so I usually drift in between dreams and reality for that time as they begin to intertwine and dreams begin to seem real. It’s really fun.

  18. Your_mom says:

Very nice, I wonder if biff suddenly had magical time traveling powers next… Hmmmmm I wonder….

  19. jadestone33 says:

Yeah, just to let you all know, it’s Mardi Gras. And, thats given me an idea for teasing my brother. (he loves Root Beer)

  20. colin says:

Wait, Vis, isn`t that the same as Rip Van Winkle? He falls asleep for like 20 years and nobody knows him

  21. kenshin620 says:

oh so that’s how it was spelled. Well you knew what I was talking about anyway.

  22. sukka says:

So now Biff has a piece of THE time inside him, oooh legendary… just too bad it tastes dull…

  23. Nate says:

I’d wait for that time to sit in a wine celler, time seems to taste better (depending on when it’s bottled) after a good number of years.

  24. isana says:

    i love flat root beer

  25. Phantom Blade says:

what did you expect time to taste like, Chickhen

  26. Bob says:

i have a hard time rembering stuff, or just generally thinking when people wake me up, id be telling them that they need more potatoes to turn the light on, but just like the second poster, i had almos the same dream, it was awesome, because i knew what would happen, but then i woke up a few hours later, and forgot most of it, which was a real bummer

  27. Mint Sharpie says:

I love the look on Biff’s face and his overall posture for this… It’s like, “Time, why dost thou betray me?” or something…

  28. Radical Edward says:

My lifeforce is bottled up in a caseful of bottles. It’s as potent as Monster, but tastes like blue raspberry.

  29. darkpheonix XIII says:

Flat a&w root beer actually tastes pretty good. and I kept some of my Intelligence bottled for big tests, but I have unfortunately lost the bottle.

  30. Rachel says:

mabye you need to catch a different time period. it may taste better.

  31. Elkian says:

    BUT, it cures all ills!
    Except for death.

  32. mrmeval says:

    The good stuff
Use corn sugar, do NOT use asssspartame. Natural carbonation can take a month in the bottle otherwise the mix will eject from the bottle with great force.

  33. Benzene the Scientist says:

Weird, i’ve had thyme in my spice drawer for a while now, i thought it tasted herby
