Back when I was in cub scouts we once took a field trip to a Dunkin Donuts. We got a tour of the back room to see how the donuts were made. I was really curious how they made jelly filled donuts and had all kinds of ideas in my head about it. I was really disappointed to find that they just made the donut and later squirted the jelly into it with a little pump machine. Don’t ask a magician how it’s done.

Why they don’t sell “Bagel Holes” anywhere, is a mystery.
I was really confused about donuts too when I was a kid, but my confusion was mainly about where in the world you could get them! Because donuts weren’t easily available where I live until I was somewhere around 10 – 12 years old. But then again, I live in the middle of nowhere…
