Chapter: Comics
I try to train myself to not freak out at every errant tickle I may feel. But when I look down and it really is a big spider crawling up my arm I go into freak out overdrive. Every large piece of dust that hits me for the next 8 hours results in a surge of adrenaline.

There are many tiny little flies in the apartment now, and even a small bug like one of these flies is enough to make me feel creeped out if it would happen to land on my arm or try to fly into my ears. The worst thing, however, is something that is guaranteed not to fly right at me and land on me. Cocoons… *Shivers* I have to wash my hands if I accidentally touch one, just to get rid of the feeling that I had touched something disgusting (even if I almost didn’t feel anything at all when I actually touched it).
Imagine how the spider feels.
“Eeek! I accidentally landed on a human! What do I do?”
Oh that reminds me of one night.
I was sitting at the computer with my cat in my lap, she was sound asleep.
Everything was good until I felt this tickle on my hand. Now I have frayed edges on my hoodie’s sleeves, so I glanced down expecting to see a string.
What I saw was an unholy huge wolf spider sitting comfortably on my hand.
I screamed.
Flailed wildly.
Dumped the cat out of my lap.
Nearly fell out of the chair myself.
And the spider? Disappeared.
Wow Chris, you must REALLY hate spiders.
This is like the bajillionth comic Ive seen you hating them -w-
Wonder whatd happen if you found an Australian Spider in your shower.
Um, maybe give it a nice, hot, shower?
Most little house spiders that come around me, a puff of air and they scuttle away. A few, run the wrong way (toward me). BAD idea, little speeder! Bigger puff!
I was playing an online game one night, when something in the corner of my vision moved. I ignored it at first because I run dual monitors and I was busy trying not to die in my game. Turns out a baby wolf spider was rushing toward my hand. My chair *somehow* fell over backward and the spider was subject to a lot of mad slapping with a hard object. Every time the screen flashed that night I jumped a little bit.
I don’t have a thing for bugs in general, but my wife is realy scared of them and I didn’t know why untill we stayed at her mothers.
There are bettles the size of golf balls there and the grass hoppers are nearly as big. She also has giant wetas that I’m used to being big, but these ones where *huge*. Not a word of a lie they where the size of dinner plates, and could probably bite off and eat your finger
