Chapter: Comics
I guess it really depends on the culture. I’m sure some places want to be welcoming of your business and will attempt to accomodate all requests. Others will expect you to adapt to their customs… or shapes.

Woah, that’s a weird toilet! I… don’t think I really want to know who or what this toilet is made for. Why are there two openings in the toilet bowl? (And why did I ask that?)
It looks like it’s for a species with one leg (or some odd number) and two waste exits on opposite sides of the leg. Perhaps one for solid and one for liquid? Why is the toilet paper pointy? I can’t think of a use for that, and straight would be easier to tear. Maybe it’s just for looks?
Nah, that’s a sign that it’s a *really* classy intergalactic hotel, just like the ones on Earth that fold the corners of the paper to make a point in order to show that they have pretensions of classiness.
Some “nicer” hotels fold the end of the toilet paper to look nice when you first step into the bathroom.
Yeah, I don’t get it, either.
I think it’s because it’s a fresh roll, and it just easier to start that way.
I think they fold it over, so they don’t have to put a brand new
roll on, but that way you know that some hotel staff person came
in, and made sure that the roll was clean.
At least it’s usable, in a slightly acrobatic fashion.
i once stayed in a hotel that had the most bizarre toilets ever. they were really deep, the bowl was shaped really awkwardly (almost like the one in the picture), and they were really high off the ground. at least the urinals were mostly normal, except they had advertisements for kfc all over them.
part of me wants to know what kind of alien would use that kind of toilet. the rest of me just wants SPRINKLES
