#1479 – Squeeze

I recently picked up a 6-pack of Seagram’s ginger ale at a Walgreens. I carried it home and plunked it down on the kitchen table while wincing at how the plastic bag had started to cut into my hand. It wasn’t until I roughly placed it onto the glass shelf in my refrigerator that I realized I was dealing with glass bottles. It has been so long since I have seen non-alcoholic beverages in glass that I nearly broke my refrigerator shelf.

  1. There are some non-alcoholic beverages in glass bottles here in Sweden too, though it’s not that usual. There’s some sort of juice sold at a store not too far from where I live, and sometimes there’s soda in glass bottles as well, but that isn’t available all the time.

there’s lots of drinks available in glass bottles here (Houston) but they are mostly either imported from, or produced domestically by, companies from Central and South America or the Caribbean.

We will continue to have this problem until someone invents squeezable glass.

That’s one way to make the ketchup saltier, I guess…

unfortunately, that particular bottle was empty at the time. he would’ve needed a blood transfusion if he wasn’t biff.
