Chapter: Comics
I remember when I was a kid I had some interesting understandings about the human body. For example I thought your belly was essentially like a water balloon filled with blood. If you punctured it with a knife all the blood in your body would gush out in a few seconds. Be careful with that sharp pencil!

I always thought your digestive tract consisted of a straight tube from your mouth to you butt, with a separate one leading to the bladder (as I would later know it) for liquids.
Speaking of zippers and misunderstandings about the human body – My mother told me that she had had the option to have a zipper put in when I was born by caesarian section so that it would be easier to have more kids. I believed that for an embarassingly long time.
I used to think that your lungs were like two completely hollow balloons filled with air, and I also thought that the food would spin around like laundry in a washing machine whilst in the digestive system.
Hahaha!
Sometimes it feels like that. 🙁
😉
Any suppositions we had as kids about anatomy are probably true in Biff’s case.
Hey Chris, I don’t have a Kindle but I found out the one for PC’s and book #5 was my first true purchase for it (Aside from a few free downloads that are in the public domain AKA free to test it out first). But what better way to make a first true purchase for it than Biff? 🙂
Hey awesome. Thanks!
When I was younger my cousin convinced me that my bellybutton worked like the tied end of a balloon, and that if I fussed with it too much it would unravel and my insides would fall out. He also spent a lot of time holding me down and threatening to unravel it.
thanks to the existence of some medical book i found, i had few bizarre misconceptions about human anatomy. I did, however, think that aside from organs and bones, the human body was completely hollow, and if you had internal bleeding or something blood would just pool into your legs.
