There are people in my neighborhood that like to set off illegal fireworks on the explosion appropriate holidays. It’s bad enough that it drives our dog nuts and wakes up our child. The next morning I find many spent rocket casings all over our yard and imagine that next year will be the time that I’ll be walking the dog and get hit in the head.

You know what they say,
When the deification hits the oscillation, cats explode.
I read somewhere that setting off fireworks is only legal from 4 in the afternoon to 4 in the morning at New Year’s Eve in Sweden, but do the people in my neighborhood care? NO! They have been setting off fireworks since before Christmas, and I still get to hear fireworks occasionally (I think I heard some of ’em yesterday)!
The only “person” who goes more mad from this than I do, is my dog. At least I don’t bark like a moron when I hear fireworks… 😛
Biff resolves to find a new cat food formula.
Oh, and I wonder just how often you have to blow stuff up at random before the “Apology / Explosion” section of the Hallmark Store(tm) starts turning a profit…

I gotta stop reading these at work, people are giving me funny looks when I randomly burst into laughter. The worst part is I couldn’t even explain it to them
