Chapter: Comics
Frequently you don’t even get a ribbon for your efforts. Your only reward is that you are picked to slay the next dragon.
“But you were so good at slaying the first one. Don’t make that face. Who else are we going to send? Jeremy? He put his sword through his foot last week. Hardly the best choice for something like this.”
Today’s Maximumble gets the message.

Anyone else look at today’s cartoon and immediately think “THE BLACK KNIGHT ALWAYS TRIUMPHS”? Or was it just me?
’tis but a flesh wound!
Look! Your arm’s off!
And “your arm is off” is actually one of the tags on today’s Biff… 🙂
So it is. Hadn’t noticed until you pointed that out. 😛
i also thought of monty python when i saw this
Biff the DRAGON SLAYER.
/worship
Isn’t that always the way, though..? No good deed goes un-punished.
Yeah, what a rip-off.
But if the dark areas on his armor are burn marks, then why is it that his eyebrows didn’t catch fire? Are they fireproof?
Protected by his visor whilst in combat..? Or maybe they hold the essence of Biff, and so long as they remain, Biff remains. Yeah, that must be it – When Biff is finally erased, the last thing to go will be the eyebrows.
“I don’t care if you took an arrow to the knee, get back in there and slay!”
Chris…have you been playing Skyrim?
He used to play Skyrim, but then he took an arrow to the knee 😛
The “took an arrow to the knee” thing is from that game, isn’t it? (correct me if I’m wrong)
Your blurb for this comic almost exactly mirrors this short story. I was suddenly reminded of it and had to go search for it: http://www.pebbleversion.com/Portfolio/html/Drama8.html
Why slay them when you can command them? Alternatively, use those mousetrap trebuchets.
