#1394 – Bounce

I don’t think I can remember anyone I know having a ping pong table when I was a kid. For some reason though, everyone always had ping pong balls laying around. We would bounce them around the house. Toss them down long flights of stairs. Levitate them with the vacuum cleaner. Never actually played the proper game.

I’d have thought Bowling Pong would have been invented by the healthcare industry..?

In my experience, all the ping pong tables were in basements (and how the hell did they get *there*..?!) and most basements are made of fairly robust materials – Usually unfinshed brick or concrete, where I grew up.

I also seem to have a number of ping pong balls around my house, but i don’t know why. My family has never owned a ping pong table…

Your mother wasn’t a stripper, by any chance???? Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

Call me ignorant, but what do strippers do with ping pong balls?

[Note to self: Go to a strip club and find out.]

You’ve already got the correct answer. If we told you, you’d call B.S. on it… But it’s not.

Note: Best luck finding the answer in the sleaziest dive available.

You should have been around when it was played with *cannon* balls.

I got pingpong balls to throw them for the cat to run after and catch. A different kind of jump & run game!
