#1364 – Exposed

I never had any problems with people taking my food from work. I guess I rarely had anything worth taking that was out of sight for very long. My other coworkers would frequently have problems with things like a six-pack of Diet Coke they left in the refrigerator or the unopened bag of Doritos sitting on their desk overnight. I once left a Snickers at work for a few days but made sure to bury it in the bottom drawer behind a bunch of junk. I checked to see that it was still there every morning before finally eating it as an emergency lunch.

Today’s Maximumble has an offer for you.

I had Ramen noodles stolen at work.

I bet the Chair of Insanity has a function that would protect his lunch…

People have learned not to swipe my lunches… Hot peppers are a religion with me.

My last job had a community fridge, but I never used it. You were supposed to write your name on your food, but since no one worked the same shift day to day if you left food there overnight all bets were off. I had a working fridge at home so this never appealed to me.

It’s fun to leave out lunches that are secretly poisoned with ghost peppers.

I read your post, Chris, but I still can’t wrap my head around the idea that you’d leave a Snickers bar uneaten.
