#1358 – Dodge

I used to get pizza and french fries for lunch everyday back in high school. Then a new semester came along and I sat with a different group of kids. The kid across from also got the pizza but before he ate it he would use 4 or 5 napkins to soak up the pools of oil/grease off the surface. Soon after I started getting their deli sandwiches instead.

Today’s Maximumble is underneath it all.

I had a friend in H.S. who would refer to the cafeteria pizza (the square-sliced kind with the cheap red sauce and artificial cheese) as “roast wound.” Tonight, I found out that my daughter’s school serves the same kind, and passed the nickname on for her to use.

I did the same thing to my pizza in HS. Except instead of napkins, I’d use a bread roll. And then I’d eat the roll.

    Super-cool animation!

Any chance you could print this comic on one of those neato 3D lenticular cards? It’d work perfectly.

Also, insert pun about leaving “space” for dessert right about… Here.

    The Duck Has Spoken.

I had to stare a bit just to check if my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me…. It seemed to move! and it DID move!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHH

  7. Hooray, the new trend of animated gif comics isn’t restricted to QC!

I love the animation and like Rhiakath i had to stare at it for a few to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks. I like psycho duck’s idea about the 3d cards and last but not least i like the school in space week theme

I was definitely that kid that did that.

Funny thing was I thought something was wrong with my eyes before realizing that the comic was animated. Also, on the note of High School, the healthiest thing they served was a fried chicken sandwich with nothing on it. So that’s what I had to eat… plus $2.00 worth of ice cream which was a caramel Drumstick and a Butterfinger Ice Cream Bar. By the second semester I didn’t even need to say anything, by the time I got up to the counter they had already grabbed them.

I also blotted my school pizza.

Looks like Biff just lost a zero-G food fight.
