#1351 – Heft

I always get thrown off by “serving size”. I almost always assume that the serving size for any given food is however much they fit in the container. I learned how wrong this was when I made popcorn on the stove with one stick of butter and one jar of popcorn kernels.

Today’s Maximumble soars above.

    Economy of Scale week? 😛

Careful there Biff, that’s a slippery slope you walk on! Next it’ll be one “spoonful” of sugar, one “piece” of chocolate, one “container” of milk… next thing you know, you’ll wake up from a sugar-induced haze on the couch in your underwear 😛

What I love is when come treat comes in a package with suggested serving size “Approx 2.6” or a similar ridiculous number.

Kinda like 2.3 children make an average family. Now, in Biff’s world, I can kinda see the possiblity of 3/10 of a child, but in the real world..?!

I think this is one of my new favorite Biffs.
There’s an amusing Bryan Regan stand-up bit on serving sizes: http://goo.gl/Y0t7h.

Hey, “however much they fit in the container” IS a legitimate serving size when you’re playing D&D, especially if it’s an 11-oz bag of Doritos or a 2L bottle of Mountain Dew. As for 2.5 servings in a 20-oz bottle of soda; yeah, that’s ridonkulous.

What sucks is, that’s absolutely right!
