I remember back in grade school I liked to take a sheet of paper and crumple it up and flatten it back out over and over. After 10 or 15 minutes it would have a soft almost napkin-like texture. I actually thought I discovered the technique they must use to make paper napkins. It turns out they just use ground up butterfly wings.

I used to do the same thing, by leaving permission slips and homework in the bottom of my school bag. My mother was unimpressed with the delightful new medium I’d produced.
Do children also need a ‘blow-a-bag-and-pop-it’ performer to get up from their naps? If so, Biff could double-dip!
My thing was to roll paper up as tightly as I could, trying to reproduce a sucker handle stick. The teachers were constantly underwhelmed by my tubular homework. Dunno why. :confused:
I had to fire my white noise performer last week. Hes suffering from burns in the hospital, and I got a great night of sleep! ^w^
But Biff performs some pretty strange jobs outside the cubicle.
Biff has done many a strange job.
My grandfather showed me how to shrink a dollar bill by crumpling it up. He said that beer helps… Even though I had no access to beer at the time, I started crumpling the dollar bill, then opening it back up to check to see how much it shrank. It was soft like the paper. Eventually I got it to shrink to almost 3/4 of its original size. I was pretty excited, even though it took way too long…
I remember when my best friend and I were about 8 years old, we discovered the magic of crumpling paper and reopening it. We made this whole game out of it, pretending we had found “ancient paper,” and we were replicating it. The one drawback we made up was that it couldn’t be left in sunlight for 24 hours, or it would explode. Not exactly sure where that last part came from…
I just realized that in the mercury one a few days back, his eyebrows have to be all coiled up inside the helmet…

Several years ago I folded up a homework assignment and stuffed it into my pocket so I wouldn’t forget to do it when I got home. Several days and one trip through the washing machine later I found a strange object in my pocket that had the appearance and texture of lava rock, but was incredibly light and was an off-white color. I still mess with it occasionally.
