Chapter: Comics
In the spring and fall I would sometimes go out to my car to eat lunch and write comics. There were a bunch of people that I would see walking out of the building and over to the “designated smoking area.” I would see many of the same people each time. My favorite guy would have his cigarette and lighter ready and started to light up the instant his shoulder pushed past the outside door. He then furiously smoked his cigarette, puffing smoke like a steam engine as he hurriedly walked down the sidewalk to his “designated” goal. He would walk right up to the 3 foot tall stone ashtray, take one last looooong drag and put the cigarette out. He then walked back just as quickly as if nothing ever happened.

It’s hard to be a chain smoker when you only have a 15 minute break.
Funny in a weird way.
So is that where the fish go to smoke (see opaque hotbox fishtank halfway down the tower), or is that where the workers go to actually smoke rolled up fish? 😛

Don’t smoke the gefilte fish – that’s for hard-core fish-smokers.

@Kitsune Dzelda Sure you can, but you might get rusty lungs.
The hard part about smoking fish, of course, is keeping them lit.

Sounds like that guy is ex-military. We call that range smoking in my unit. (were not allowed to move and smoke in uniform, so we got guys in civilian clothes that march furiously while smoking)
