#1195 – Clear

It’s always a relief when I turn that last corner on my way home from a trip and see my house is still there. There’s always a vague worry of a fire or flood or stray asteroid impact that happened while I was away. Maybe someday I’ll convince the people across the street to install a webcam pointing at my house. But then of course what if the entire house was destroyed except for the very front?

That’s why I like windows on my house.
Easy way to tell if something isn’t right.

  2. for me white noise is a sound that only my sister notices we all hear blank except for her in the middle of the night

You destroyed my theories. Now it’s either a poster or a window, but not a picture.

If they installed a web-cam pointing at your house, then people could watch you all the day every time you’re outside – be it naked except for a towel grabbing the newspaper or merrily sipping a milkshake while reading said newspaper (nude, of course). Ah, the endless possibilities.

On the ‘white’ side, we now have an excuse for Biff’s frustratingly white skin.

Never operate a white noise machine and a black light in the same room at the same time….

You really don’t want to know.

I now need to do this, just to see what happens.

I have a machine that does this. It’s a humidifier that works by mechanically splashing water against the sides of a chamber with fast airflow. It generates a whole lot of both white noise – from the motor and constant splashing – and white dust, from the water droplets thrown into the air that then evaporate, leaving behind whatever was dissolved in the water. If I don’t dust constantly, everything near the machine turns grey, and then chalky white.

Maybe you should put that webcam on an isometric point of view, that way your house will look like it’s on a video game and at the same time you’ll cover most of it!
You know it’s a good idea, if you get a webcam with a thermal imaging mode then you could spy on small mamals living beneath your house!, it would all feel like the sims!

When I saw Pink Floyd in ’77, they got the crowd in the proper mood by telling us they were bringing the sound system up to full capacity by running pink noise through all the speakers.

I think this would also explain Biff’s skin color.

my infant daughter has a white noise maker and now I find I cant get to sleep some nights without it myself! As a side note, I got my original Book Of Biff sketch framed finally (will post pics eventually) and saw you’ll be back at Emerald City Comic Con. Cant wait to see you this year!

@Dustin – Cool, can’t wait to see it!

SCorinth: I think those are meant to be used with distilled/deionized water and it’s not THAT expensive. :/

    i don’t think that’s how it works
