This of course doesn’t help with space bears. They have been known to be able to smell a salmon sandwich from 5 million miles away. You gotta double bag that stuff. Salmon can be very tempting.

Great solution….don’t camp in bear country.
Nothing is safe from the water bears, they can survive the vaccum of space.
@Fafnir13: easy, the rocket has a timed explosive that knocks the basket back into the atmosphere.
However, this doesn’t look like the proper setup for an accurate return trip.
Well, that seems EXACTLY like something that Biff would do…

Hey Chris! Love your comic (at least, the ~300 I’ve read so far, but I bet the rest are just as good), I’ve been reading through the archives in chunks for a couple of weeks.
I’ve got a request: I’ve got a one-liner about Biff, but it calls for a strip where Biff injures himself. Can you set me up please?

If Biff ever gets to go to the Moon, he doesn’t need to bring lunch with him.
extreme camping situation week? Taking the rules of camping way too far? Biff always was one to take things way too literally.
And why are people asking how he’s gonna get the food back? He’s got a ROCKETSHIP. Or, knowing Biff, he’s got a remote secondary rocket IN the basket all stealth-like, with a motion sensitive lazer turret in case weird moon things wander too close.
Toafan – Biff is ALWAYS injuring himself. He loses half of his head in comic #1.
Well, yea, great, and I know – but, I have a one-liner I want to share and the set-up requires Biff getting injured. I could go and post it on any one of the old strips I like, yeah, but who besides new people even looks at #1 anymore? Classic strip, but not that classic.
Or, if you just eat all the food when you get there, you don’t have to worry about bears getting into your supplies.

@Toafan – I agree, it makes it worse when the art style has changed, and it doesn’t look how you wanted it to…
@Gebiv – I agree, why do people nap first, when there are 3 easy steps?
1. Get there (*note – you may want an adult to help with this, lol*)
2. Eat Food (*as you will be hungry from getting los- err… getting there.*)
3. Sleep off food (*so you can digest it partially*)
4. Do whatever else you do on picnics (*note- can vary*)
5. Try to find your way home again, and hope the bears didn’t get your map again.
