My wife is going to be eligible to upgrade her phone in a few weeks. I’m excited because I’ll get her current one as a hand-me-down. I’m not going to use the phone feature at all though, it will just be my internet connected camera.

Now I can’t stop thinking of ways the picture could be an animated gif… A flash from the phone’s camera would be fitting, even if this kind of phone can’t do that (my phone can’t).
Emergency: Out of pizza? Or accidentally ate the poison pizza that is left as a booby-trap for hungry burglars?
Out of Pizza is a severe emergency. Send the picture of the empty box to the pizza shop, and they’ll come asap with flashing lights and sirens.
The bottom of the box looks to me not so much poisoned but more as if the pizza was covered with Christmas card glitter before cutting.
My boss just remarked the other day that there’s a whole generation coming up that never wear wristwatches because they just look at their phones for the time.
Except for those of us who work in fancy public areas that allow wrist watches but not cell phones. I prefer my watch anyways – it has a nice lazyness quotient, as I just have to twist my wrist instead of pull something out of my pocket and press a button to illuminate it.
I also hate the fact that a lot of kids nowadays have no idea how to tell time on a clock that is not digital. Rest assured all three of mine will learn that.
