Well I guess I’ll go to the burger place across the street… Come on traffic… let’s go… okay where is their restroom? Where? Down this hallway? It’s locked! Oh dang I have to get a key from the cashier? There’s a line! Wait… there’s a flower planter over by that jewelry store!

I’ve never understood this thing about seeing or hearing water and having to use the restroom. Is it unusual in some way that water doesn’t make me need to use the restroom even more when I already feel the need to go?
It usually only happens to me if it’s running water *in a bathroom.* It’s entirely a matter of conditioning – like when you don’t have to, but then someone turns to you and says “hey, do you need to go before we head into this meeting?” and then you figure you suddenly realize you do.
Always go before you go somewhere, and when you get there, find out where to go.
ADHD should be redefined as, “a condition where you only hear fragments of a sentence, and your brain puts those fragments together to form a bizarre frankensentence that makes no sense whatsoever”. not sure why i brought this up.
