I'm from Texas. I'm 25 and I just graduated from college with a social work degree. However I am working at a Jack in the Box while I wait for my paperwork to work it's way through the underbelly of the Government.
I have 2 guinea pigs named Spunky (I love Rocko's Modern Life) and Jake (Blues Brothers). I am also the only person under 45 who can cross stitch. I have the typical red hair/cajun temper that I try to control. Wink

I'm from Denver, and I resent that. Boring? How can an open plain of dead brown grass be boring? Tumble weeds? I almost wrecked my horseless carriage last time I saw one of those bumble past. And the rocky Mountains? Ah, so what if they're dry, cold hunks of slag in all save a few months, they've got elk. And mule deer! White-assed mule deer...

Where are you from? Missouri
What is your job / what do you study? Unemployed(doing temp work occasionally). Last job was making wire bundles for Black Hawk helicopters for a couple months(I like to brag). Before that, I worked at Hobby Lobby for 6 years.
How old are you? 25(Texas Ninja, Chris, and I are the oldest here it seems)
Hobbies? Drawing, keeping up on the latest tech. Legos are cool too.
Family / pets? I live with my mom(neither of us have the resources yet to live on our own), and we have at least 3 stray cats and 3 kittens on our porch.
Favorite web sites? I visit several webcomics, mostly via rss feed. I also enjoy technology websites, and frequent LiveJournal.
Books / movies?(throwing in tv for completeness) Harry Potter is about the only book series I've bothered with in the past 10 years. Fav. movies include Lion King, Harry Potter(1-4, yet to see 5), Kung Pow, UHF, Lilo & Stitch. As for TV, Father Of The Pride is my current favorite, even if it was cancelled after maybe 2 episodes. Used to be a huge Animaniacs fan, but now that I have the DVD, I find my tastes have changed a little. Boston Legal is awesome, plus Star Trek: TNG. I don't watch much tv. Back when I had cable, I really loved Food Network, HGTV and Discovery Channel.
Other stuff? Well, there's my sig below...

Would it be possible to get this thread stickied? Just so that any new people don't miss out on the chance to open their souls to us, and allow the feeding of life to commence - err, I mean, the chance to let us know a bit more about them?

Haha, sure, I'll bite.

My name's Rachel. I'm from Sonoma County California (suspiciously close to the Bay Area and Napa Valley forum goers who have posted so before me).
I have worked at various things, but currently I am the assistant manager of a deli. I'd have to say my favorite job is house-sitting, and the most fun job I've ever had is working at an anime kiosk.
I'm 22, and I love drawing, watching cartoons and anime, reading comics, playing video games, hiking, biking (when my legs will let me), and animals. I also enjoy picking up recycling, and bugging other people to recycle. Travel is very fun, and I would like to go back to Europe sometime. Perhaps Switzerland (even though I don't like skiing) or England if I can manage it.
My parents are, thankfully, still together (nearly all of my friends are from broken families), and I have an older brother who I'm pretty sure would rather steal my wallet than give me a hug. ...Maybe not, but you know. I have three cats... and a neighbors cat who has adopted my home. One of my cats thinks I'm his mom. He also thinks he's a dog. I used to have two dogs, but they both died after about seventeen years... I also have six stick bugs.
My favorite movie is Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I also like Memento. My major of study is art, but I'm going to take a hiatus from classes this coming semester.
I'm not particularly sure I have any 'favorite' websites... I certainly enjoy the Yugioh Abridged series by Little Kuriboh, as well as several online comics outlined in another thread.
I would like to make my own manga styled comic book. Other than that I just do silly stuff for fun.  Grin

Stick bugs are cool. I saw one for the first time last year. I guess they aren't very common around here.

Yea, I'm not sure how common they are either. All I know is that when I tell people I have stick bugs, the first thing 40% of them will ask is, 'What's a stick bug?' I have two different types, too. The generic long smooth bodied ones, and two Australian variety who are disguised more like a cluster of dead leaves than sticks.

Truthfully they used to, but that's when they were babies and had distinguishing features... now they pretty much all well look alike to me and are the same size. maybe I'm just a terrible mother. Lips sealed

Now, if they had picked up my hobby of hat collecting and all wore a silly hat... Grin

No he didn't, YouTube was just giving him a heck of a time putting anything out, so he's moved to DailyMotion and set up his own website.

Check here and also here.
