So to give the preorder project a boost I was considering auctioning off all the doodles that I did for the month of July. Does this sound interesting to anyone? Do you have a better idea?

Here are some of the July doodles...

Cool! I hope I win the fourth one. Maybe you could throw it into my book because I was an early bird and paid the full price  Wink...

You didn't pay full price... the books don't go up in price until after the preorder is over.

Hey you guys. The auctioning of the Biff doodles is to help Chris pay for his kitchen floors and floating garages and cereal won rocket ships' fuel. Do you know the price of gas these days!?  Cheesy

At any rate, there was already a purchase option for the doodles, I don't think hounding about that kind of thing is going to score any points. Embarrassed

Wh00, lookit me offend everyone! Cheesy

I like the raffle ticket idea.  Then its like everyone is helping out the cause- rather than one person winning the auction. For every dollar you donate, you get a raffle ticket.  Doodles are cool  Grin

Hmm... some people like the auction some like the raffle. Maybe I should do both? Should I raffle off the doodles and auction off something more impressive? Or are the doodles cool because it would be a whole pile of them?

I'd be inclined to go with an auction; the fact that there's a whole bunch of doodles means that it'd probably be worth auctioning them.  On the other hand, you'd probably make more money off of a raffle.  Some people don't like buying raffle tickets, though, since you're not guaranteed to get anything out of it...  I imagine that a Biff raffle would do quite well, though.  I say pick one, and save the other for a rainy day.  I'm really digging that last doodle, btw.

How does this sound:

I do a raffle for all of the July doodles. 25 cents gets you one entry. Enter as often as you like from now to midnight next Sunday night. I'll announce the winner on Monday. People that have already donated will be included. All proceeds will go towards the preorder fund.

The interesting thing is that if everyone that came to the site donated 25 cents the preorder would be over in 24 hours.  Shocked

The 1998 header was looking a bit dated to me. I upgraded it to match the website logo instead.

This is probably the 4th time I have changed it. Smiley
