Instead of starting new topics for each one, we can just talk about them in one giant thread.

So... umbrellas.

The first umbrella I had as a kid was one of those bell shaped clear ones. I could pull it down over the top  half of my body. I still remember walking to 1st or 2nd grade with it. That would be cool if that became the new umbrella fashion for adult. Instead of a crowd of people holding them above there heads while walking on city streets it would be like a crowd of bubbles bobbing up the sidewalks.

LOL, that would look pretty neat... I never liked umbrella though. I did like the automatic pop up function, but my parents would get mad at me when I would start playing with it, so I tried to be good about it. I love walking in the rain! The only thing that worries me about walking in rain is if anything I'm carrying would get wet. One time I walked to school in the rain with my backpack under my coat on my back, and it still got my books all soggy! So I get sort of paranoid when it's raining pretty hard and I need to carry something, but other than that, I don't even bother using a hood.

It would be fun to squeegee down a glass umbrella. Cheesy

I don't mind walking in the rain so much... but when it's really cold out and it's a half hour walk it can be a bit much. Smiley

Yeah, I LOVE running around in a t-shirt & shorts right after the first snow of the season, then running back inside and warming up.

If I recall correctly, I remember doing yardwork in a t-shirt during the dead of winter. It wasn't an esspecially cold one. We've been having some crappy winters lately. More rain than anything. Sad

Yea, when I was up in Toronto last Feb, the locals told me that their winter snow had started excessively late compared to normal.  Undecided

Since I am from Ohio(represent!), I've grown up with cold weather. I wear shorts and t-shirts year round, no matter what the weather is like. During the summer, the hottest I can remember it being was maybe 100 degrees. During the winter, the coldest I can remember it ever being was around 20 below.

Yo, Sil! Order a book so we can stop making fun of Ohio! Cheesy ....But wait, what's that got to do with the latest comic? Huh

I'm afraid of the fire extinguisher at my work! It's a big stainless steel one that's hung on a wall that everyone pushes big carts down, so it gets knocked off its hook and hits the floor at least twice a week. If that thing were a can of soda it would have exploded by now. I really wonder what condition it's in, or if it will just randomly go off one of these days when someone rams into it.

Well, they push the carts that are piled with things and the fire extinguisher is hung right on the corner, so they position the cart to miss the wall which they can see over their load, but they hit the fire extinguisher that's hung lower and sticks out about a foot. It's really annoying and dangerous. @_@;

For my final project in english/science/history,  I shot a video with a couple of classmates. We roped a fire extinguisher to my back and taped the nozzle to a paintball gun. It was a flamethrower. Sorta ironic, huh?
That was fun, shooting a movie with them. A lot of mistakes wound up being put into the dialogue. One of the best moments is when Andrea's character died, and we realize that she's a girl. Then I made a comment on how we should have figured it out by the length of her hair (mine's almost a foot longer than hers Cheesy ).

Main rule of forums: don't mention people who don't use the forums. If you do, just say "my friend" or "my mom" or "my brother" or whatever they are to you.

Yeah, what he said. Also, Snake, what was that about a cabin? Why not a garden shack, or a one-bedroom apartment?

Edit: Don't you just hate it when your macaroni tube overflows?
