I'll tell you.
Our beloved Orangey has not been on this forum since JULY. He is one of our Moderators, but before that, he is one of our regular members. Were it not for him, this forum would probably not have gained enough of my attention for me to stick around past my first month. Now he's gone and decided to spend all his time on the MSPA forums and doing other things like having a life.
We just cannot be having with this. He's entertaining, and I say that we should get him to come back.
I could probably call him or email or something and tell him to come back, but he'd probably respond with exasperation, sarcasm, some lame excuses, and a promise to get back that he would forget about the second I stopped conversing with him. So instead I am making this thread.
I know that more people than just me have been missing his presence here, so tell him how much you miss him!
If anything, the sheer oddness of this thread will give him a reason to come back.

I'm all for letting Orangey do what he wants. I happen to know that he's been really busy lately, and he's also been ill. He's got to prioritize his activities as a moderator, after all, and this forum is mostly self-regulating, plus concerns over school and trying to keep his life straight and everything. Right now, he barely has time to think sometimes.
I think we all agree: we love Orangey. But we have to remember that sometimes, it's better for a person to not take on too many things at once.I think I'd rather have him not here and sane than here and overtaxed.

Aww, but insane/intoxicated Orangey is so much fun!  He's even more hilarious than usual. But of course he has a lot of things to do. If I was a dude like him I probably would have a full schedule too. It's really unsurprising how everyone misses him, charismatic as he is, and everybody loves the regulars. I know I love all's y'all, and I miss him too. But hey, the dude never asked me to miss him, and I got no business telling him where he should and shouldn't be. I respect and fear him far too much to do so.  So, as Drakey said, let him come back(if at all) in his own time. If I'm still around then, I know I'll be happy to see him. |
