Misbehaving ads?
«

I got 2 emails from people saying they had problems with ads on thebookofbiff.com
"When I went to thebookofbiff.com today, I was redirected to a page which informed me that your site has downloaded malicious software onto user computers (without user consent) a few times. That is probably something that should be looked into."
Can anyone verify this? I can't reproduce it here so I can't figure out if it is coming from one of my ad networks or not.

Sounds like tracking cookies. It's just a little bit of data used to remember sites one visited. Ads can use them to get information from users and target them with deals to get them to go or buy something. It's mostly harmless though.

Well... maybe it wasn't my site or it's already fixed.
