So I'm pretty confident I can arrange a meeting between me and the girl I like this weekend. Where shall we go? I know she likes video games, movies, music, and other stuff I haven't figured out yet. Where is an appropriate place to meet on a pre-dating date?

I love my immediate family.
Anything beyond that, for me, is a different kind of love. Like, I love Scarfy. I love Andrew Hussie and Chris Hallbeck. I love Bernie Rhodenbarr and Peter Wimsey and Spenser, even though they don't exist.
And there are things I feel intense affection for. Like my dogs, my cats, in some cases a stuffed animal or a fleece throw.

"Love" is used way too readily on this language. For instance I love my reading Biff, but not like I love Pixel. I enjoy reading Biff a lot, but I want to spend the rest of my life with Pixel. I think we should narrow this thread to romantic love.
