Man, when I was talking to you at NEWW, I even mentioned the car filled with balloons one. What a coincidence.

You think that's bad? My dad has, on several occasions, gotten onto me for drinking something that was purchased specifically for my consumption. He has even told me, and I quote, "When I bring something home from the grocery store and the day after it's all been eaten, that discourages your mother and me from buying more of it next time." Your family, at least, only complains if something they want gets eaten.

Sounds familiar. Only, my dad will scold us for both eating something he wanted (without at any time saying we should not eat it) and if we let food go bad by  not eating it. On top of that, he will eat the only vegetarian leftovers (when there is plenty of meaty leftovers) and then justify it by saying I never eat them. (maybe I would more often if other people didn't get to it first!)

if we let food go bad by eating it.

That makes no logic!

Fixed.

Sorry, it was like two in the morning and I was barely able to type at that point. I'm not a late night person.

One of my favorite quick lunches is a toasted bagle (I like union) with cream-cheese, tomato and clover/alfalfa spout, and a little mustard.

I like soup, grilled cheese, fried chicken, nachos, burritos, vegetarian tacos, sandwiches, homemade french fries, bacon or Pepsi for lunch, breakfast or dinner.
So yeah, any one or combination of the above. A really good meal would be all of them, but I'd have to eat it in installments.

Those all sound like good things to eat.

We don't have any bagels though. D:
