Philosopher's stone (That's probably sorcerer's stone to you.)
Running round the castle was indeed fun.

On a slightly difforent note, it pissis me of that we as Americans have to have new name for something just so we can think that it belongs to us.
Example: Philosopher's stone vs Sorcerer's stone
For me the Philosopher's stone sounds way cooler then its American counter part.

Pixel, even if your point had merit, that's a terrible example; Rowling herself made the decision to market it under a different name.

LOL. This is either the best or worst 'Twilight' discussion ever. Considering the movie though (because I'm incredibly jaded and opinionated) I'm not surprised this is incredibly off topic.

I think we all agreed that Twilight slurps. There's not much more to discuss except for senseless flaming. If we had someone on here who was adamantly pulling for the novel, we'd be having quite the discussion.

One of the things that's weird about this book is that they never develop Jacob's character, at least in the ones I've read. All that you get is that he's in love with Bella.

Okay, seriously. Next time I come over, I am bringing Twilight, some bad romance novels, and a tape recorder. I really must hear you do weird voices for everything. ...now I need to get Twilight and some bad Romance novels.

ARG.
WHY TEENAGE GIRLS DON'T DESERVE OPINIONS.
There is a girl who goes to my school who hangs out with the anime club people. (a group I abandoned last year, but still talk to on occasion.) This girl had long, long, dark hair that I don't think she's cut since elementary school. She got her hair cut. At school, during lunch. By a friend.
This cut....Is BAD. Really, REALLY bad. The girl who cut it had NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT SHE WAS DOING. It looks Ok-ish in the front, but ONLY because she had it tucked behind her ear. In the back, it looks like absolute shit. There's one really major, uneven line at the middle of her head, and everything below it is choppy and shit-looking. I could do better, and I'm hardly an expert. The catch? It was for a fucking TWILIGHT FAN-PHOTOSHOOT. She's supposed to be the one vampire chick with the short hair. WHAT. THE. HELL.
It's REALLY short, and it's going to take a LONG TIME to grow out. I'm going to give her the number of the woman who does my hair, and then beg her to take on a charity case for really cheap. There's not much to work with, but ANYTHING is better than what she's got.
