Well I say give them two days two post a reply. If they don't then have them do something that makes them stay with the group but nothing that will change their charactors status. Also I think that if you are going to be gone for a wile that you should tell the party thatway chaoticag can have run off somewere till you git back or try to run your charactor for you.
But this is all just me.
