Gah. I wish I had a job, so as to afford the next-gen consoles. And as to who will win the console war, I believe the entire concept of a "console war" is stupid. Each console has its own hardware and stats, and each company is going for a different audience. You just can't pit them together like that.
...yeah...this is the one topic that I could actually rant on...

I know what you mean. It's like when you're talking to your friends about, say, the Wii, and you'll get some random guy walk up to you and say "Wii slurps, PS3's better" and walk away as if he's just insulted you really harshly.

Wii is the everymans console
X-Box 360 is a more hardcore console while still acsessable
Playstation 3 is the uber hardcore console
Most people fall in the first two catagorys.

The only reasons I don't have a PS3 or Xbox 360 are that:
1) I was brought up with Nintendo (my brother had a NES, SNES, N64, etc)
2) They cost too much.
3) I like Nintendo's innovative ideas.
I'm not knocking the PS3 or Xbox 360 (I think they're cracking consoles) but I suppose I'm just more of a Nintendo guy. But that doesn't mean I have to go around saying things like "Xbox 360 is the worst console ever" or "SONY ARE the GHEY".
