Well damn. I donwloaded the .lhz file (of course, having neglected to read the instructions) and ran the .exe file contained within. The game ran fine, but I couldn't find it again xD
I think I'll follow the instructions next time. But yeah, it seems great. I had to quit halfway through the tutorial to go out, though  >_<

Ah wait... do you already have RPG Maker 2003 (or the RTP installed from downloading another game?) coz if so that'd explain why it worked for you...

You did download the installation file right?  Or did you just extract the lzh file yourself and start playing with the RPG_RT file?  D=

... Well either way, at least someone in the "general public" is able to play it.  XD;

Wahey, it works ^_^
Yeah, I've got RPGXP but I never use it (I find RPG2k3 easier to use). I've just stepped on the pentagram, but now I have no idea where to go, 'cause the cart keeps blocking my way :/
Oh, and to everybody that likes adventure/puzzle games, download this. You won't regret it!

EDIT: Haha, stupid me. Got past it now Tongue   Great game, Jez.

Hehe, glad to hear you're enjoying it.  =D

I really need to update it sometime putting more stuff about that cart... right now it's sort of a bit silly in the fact that you can only get past it one way (of course you just use the warp to get back down there again, but still), and the fact that even after moving it she says the exact same thing when examining it...  D=  I sort of got lazy and never got round to refining that bit, as such.  X3;

I noticed that with the first pentagram it says the same thing after you've gone back to the Prof. Liked the statue bit, reminded me of Doctor Who Tongue

Wait, what do you mean he says the same?  D=

And yush, I didn't realise til half way through making the statue bit so I guess I was only subconciously inspired.  X3  It was like "Wait a sec... I'm copying Doctor Who here.  Ah well, that ep was awesome."

I mean when you go back to the pentagram even after you've met the Prof again, the text from the pentagram is the same as before you met the Prof. If that makes sense o.O

Really?  That's weird... once you've done the pentagram once she's supposed to say "I've already activated this pentagram so standing on it was a bit of a waste of time I guess" or something similar...

Hmm, looked into it and discovered it's because I didn't set her speech to change until you had activated the second pentagram for some reason.  X3  Next time I update the game's download it'll make it so her speech changes once you've met up with the Prof.

Just noticed we've sort of hijacked the subject matter of this topic... ah well.  D=

I rented Twin Snakes from Blockbuster a few days ago, but it only came with disc 2. I went back to the store, and it turns out that was the only copy they had, so I rented Valkyrie Profile 2 instead, which I don't think I've even played more than twice.

I've never played it, mainly coz I just know I'd be awful at it, but I watched someone else play through the whole of the first game on Gamecube, and it had a very nice storyline.  =3

You forgot the 3 after Metroid Prime, The 5 is actually a 4 on MGS, and there's a GOW 2?

Sorry, I've never had a Playstation and have never played a Metal Gear Solid game (or Final Fantasy, I hate being broke!). I do like the new old Snake, and the lighter metal gears. As for GOW, yes, there is, but we don't know anything about it. That's what E3's for...

Well, no Gears 2, but it is coming to PC. That and the new Halo 3 trailer and Mass Effect 2007 launch made up for it...

I guess I'll just make it short and sweet. So here goes...

My favorite games are first-person shooters like Halo, Doom, Counter-Strike and Quake; and racing games like Project Gotham Racing, Gran Turismo, Test Drive and Forza Motorsport, though I do like other genres. The consoles I own are an Xbox 360, an Xbox, a PlayStation 2, a PlayStation, a GameCube, an N64, a DS, a GBA and a bunch of crappy little handhelds. My Xbox Live gamertag is Mr Pie 2006 (just got Gold for a month!) my Steam handle is mrpie2006, and my ZDaemon username is MrPie. Give me a buzz if you want to play Halo, Doom, Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, PGR or anything like that.

Ratchet & Clank is still going, Resistance, Grand Tourismo, and a few others are still going and looking good. Hopefully, thats enough to keep afloat. Yes, I got PS3.

Yeah, Ratchet & Clank and Grand Turismo both came to mind when I thought about what Sony has left, also Xbox has Forza as its GT equivalent.

Resistance...I dunno, we'll see. Hopefully Killzone might also become a strong franchise - but realize that both Resistance and Killzone have started out merely decent. Can they emerge from the proverbial cocoon?

Luckily a few have carried over from the Microsoft camp, Ninja Gaiden and Oblivion come to mind...

PS3 is too expensive, and if I don't get a PS3 i'll get the game, and marry it. I know more about MGS than anyone in my school, is that right Mr. Pie?

SNAKE, PIT, METAKNIGHT, WARIO, AND WHO KNOWS WHO ELSE!

YEP, THAT'S RIGHT! SNAKE!!! SNAAAKE?! SNAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!

For who's going to win the console wars:

Imo, it's going to be a tie between the 360 and the Wii. I got both!  Cheesy

Ugh, I need more Wii games. I got Wii Sports, Wii Play ('cause it came with the controller) and a rented Trauma Center: Second Opinion. I want mario party, and as for TC: SO, it's way too short and too hard.
