There's a hot-potato game started by Scarf and myself. I PM'd her some (slightly) poisoned tea, and she sent it to someone else. That person (unless (s)he's a complete idiot) will then send it to somebody else, and so on and so forth.
Periodically Scarf or I will post here, explaining what the "potato" does to whoever has it at the time.
If it's in your possession, you lose, and we send another "potato" out. We will change what it is each time so people don't confuse others by sending an old "potato".
I will keep track of how many times people have died. If you don't admit to your death, the person who sent it to you WILL rat you out, so just be honest about it.
Also, to keep things interesting, you may post however you react to the "potato", as long as you still let it affect you. (Since I'll tally it regardless of what you say.)
It's time to get very aware of your PM's...

And speaking of staying on topic, whoever has the tea gets a sudden urge to drink it. Halfway through, you realize it's poisoned, and try to cough it back up. Unfortunately, this causes you to choke to death on the tea.
The irony is that it was only slightly poisoned, and you would have recovered from it relatively quickly, and would even have developed an immunity because of it. (After all, it was originally intended for Scarf.)
Scarf may choose and send the next potato, as well as when it goes off.

I have a concern. How are people going to know they have a "hot potato" if they never read this thread? I mean I only knew about it, ok well, a day after it started and what if I had got the "potato" when the time came up and didn't know what the hell I was surposed to do with it. What then?

Actually, I hadn't seen the thread before I sent mine off again.
The original was sent to me, but I already had some, so I sent it to Dom. I didn't realize it until the next day, but the message hadn't gotten through. I sent him another one, but I guess it's technically only the first one.
He's replied now, but whatever...

It doesn't really do a good job of letting you know when you have them, and it doesn't always send them off. I keep having to re-type my messages, which gets really annoying after awhile.
