I remeber something about robots. The "hero" was yellow and looked like a stag beetle. I use "hero" because he was a bit of an ass-hat.

Really? I think we may be talking about different shows. I remember thinking he looked like a rubix cube...

I know it's something different. My little yellow robot was used in competetive fights like Pokemen.

HOly butt, pokemon. I never got into the card game, or any of the other games, but I watched that show like there was no tomorrow.
It's what got me into Yu-Gi-Oh, actually. Those were the days when we didn't have PVR to record everything that we wanted to watch, so I had to beg my mom to let me "go downstairs to watch pokemon and yugioh!"
She would tell me to finish my homework, and I would anxiously glance at the clock while rushing through my homework to get it done in time. I'd run downstairs (weather I'd finished it or not XD) and sit in front of the TV for the next hour.
Ah, those were the good old days...

Did anyone watch Cubix? I wasn't an avid fan of the show, but if it was on, I watched it.
I remember trying to make the robot out of legoes....
Heh. I found that one amusing.

Yay! I love 80's cartoons. Back before everything went PC. It's probably for the better but man were they sweet.

Transformers. Robots in disguise. The Autobots wage their war against the evil forces of the Decepticons.

There was a girl in the new series that could generate small bombs. She was pretty cool, though. She and Nightcrawler were troublemakers whenever they were together.

I'd be more worried about how nerdy that was if it wasn't less nerdy than my real friends are.

Are they nerdy enough to sing 'hunch back of Notre Dam' songs while riding a bus to a choir workshop?

Only the ones in choir. The rest of us sing the badger song and talk about sex and comic books on the band bus.

Hmm. A new reason to hate you.

I hate the badger song, despite being from the Badger State.

I meant the one from Weebl and Bob's creator. If that's the song you're talking about, for shame.

Also, you hate me?  Cry

It's a mild sort of anitpathy, derived from chickweed extract and the crushed dreams of orphan boys.

Hey, what's up with the hatin' Drakey?

The Badger song is only hateable after it goes on for more than ten minutes.
Kind of a low threshold, but whatever...

Only the ones in choir. The rest of us sing the badger song and talk about sex and comic books on the band bus.
Yeah, you win...Band is infinitely more nerdy than choir.
