After two years, my family got a new house. This means I'll be living in a camper for the next few weeks. My activity on the Internet will be patchy at best. Don't be surprised if I'm gone for a few weeks. Chances are I'll only be on in school like right now. Wish us good luck.

I should have mentioned this. I am not moving. We are tearing down the old house and placing a new one right on top of it. I'll be living in my backyard.

Dang. You are living my dream!
Also... it's only going to take a few weeks to build the new one?
Share some pictures if you can.

Your dream is living in a house that is small and has seen better days.

I do not understand where one could infer that the implication is that he likes sleeping in such a house

This has been a successful day for all (by which I mean three) of us in terms of sense-making. And careful reading of our posts and the posts that preceded them.

Is what I dream about doing. My house isn't so great but the location is.

Two years before a move? That's like a luxury to me. Good luck in the move/rebuilding; I know I hate moving.

I'm told we moved around a few times when I was an infant, but in the span of my memory we've only moved twice. The last time was 11 years ago.

I moved once as a baby, once when my dad moved out, and once a few years ago, when he and my stepmom got a new house together.

Yes, Ohio. AKA Corntown.
Tomorrow my computer gets packed away. Communications will be severly severed. I'll be on early in the morning at school.

No, you're thinking of Indiana. Ohio is now "I-remember-when-all-of-these-houses-were-cornfields-as-far-as-the-eye-could-see Town".

I live in West Chester. About twenty miles out of Cincinnati. We only have a few precious of farmland left. The rest is suburbs.
